This little guy showed up yesterday and claims to be a bench dog and I have no doubts because when I look at him closely especially his tail I can see he is a purebred which has been around for many years .
Anyway I think the shape of his tail was the original inspiration for the bench dog .
His name is BENCHY and he will be on the bench full time to keep an eye on things .

Gotta have some fun too.

What a creative idea for a bench dog. Best thing about the dog is you won’t have to clean up after it. LOL

In spite of Ron’s prediction, is your next project going to be a really tiny pooper-scooper?
Benchy does seem to have a bit of character. Looks happy.

Must of been a long lonely winter in the shop. These guys keep popping up. As long as he is potty trained, he’s a keeper. Maybe the other fella will take him for a walk. Love your thinking Klaus. Time for me to get a helper.

One thing about him, he will never pee on anything.. and he’ll be easy to feed.
