So my lovely wife’s nephew is having a birthday party tomorrow and she asked me to help her to do something unique, fun and educational for his gift. and I said yes, and then she went to pinterest.

she found the basic idea there and we put some extra touches to make it a little more interesting.
It has a bunch of stuff to keep that little one busy for a while. here’s the list:
- Cylinder lock
- Light switch that operates the multicolor LED lights
- Sink plug
-Faucet
-Wooden gears
- Electrical outlet and cord
-Window with mirror
-Blackboard
-Abacus
-Some magnetic minions
-Pvc male and female adapter
-Slot with wooden van(dunno how to translate that)

The LED are wired on the back to a 3 AA batteries. and it took me like to do it, i tough it was gonna be just a weekend project, but it was not to be.

I do think it looks nice, if i may say it, hope Jeremy will like it too!

thanks for reading.

N.

It should keep the nephew bush. Maybe even inspire him to greater heights.

Some nice activities there. I’m not sure about the electrical outlet tho.

I had the same thought about the outlet but I am assuming that that the plug turns some of the leds off and on

Roger I had the same thought, so to minimize the chance of an accident, i made the cord short and the end are not connected at all. so even if he was able to plug it in a real one nothing will happen.

Great activity center, Nayo! Love the Minions! Did your wife do the painting? Thanks for sharing.

About the minions, they are stickers, Carmen did the painting on the other stuff, but for those minions she had to paint like 40 of those for some key chains they gave away in the party, and did not have time to painted them, so i went to the print shop to get some stickers and cut them in the scroll saw.
