I posted this project before, early in the construction process. It was an interesting and extremely challenging piece the whole way through on a lot of different levels…. My son Will did most of the construction work except for the inlay, which was done my my man Trevor on our cnc router .. He’s getting pretty good with it. Complete story is on my blog at

including an interesting comment at the bottom from a reader named ‘Lurch’ who knew someone who knew someone …etc, etc, but it showed a really interesting view into the power of the internet to connect people..

I somewhat watched this project evolve. It’s very beautiful. It’s handy to have people and machines around. They did nice work. Thanks for sharing.
