Dove tailed box

This is my dove tail box! You can see the box is held together on each corner by a dove tail joint. With the help of my wood shop teacher I laser engraved the American flag on both the inside and outside of the box. I routed feet into the box so it looks as if it is on four legs. Any questions please feel free to ask. More pictures will be coming up soon!!

Just today, I was talking to my wife about making a half blind dovetail box, and yours inspired me to get started as yours turned out so well.

Thank you all for the positive feedback, glad I could motivate you to make a box like this. It was a fun project and also the first time I attempted a dove tail.

Have your say...
