My son's headboard

This is my first woodworking project. This is the dresser that I had as a young boy. Somehow my sister ended up with the headboard that matched it, and she wasn’t giving it up. When I moved the dressers, there is another one not pictured, into my son’s room, I knew I would have find a headboard to match. After trying for months, I decided to try my hand at woodworking and built the pictured headboard. Only upon closest inspection could someone tell it isn’t a perfect match. I “had to” purchase a router and table saw to complete this project. It’s all solid oak.
