Here is a project I just finished for my wife. It is 18 1/2” wide 14” deep and 50 1/2” tall . she wanted one to match our bedroom furniture. it is made from solid cedar all but the back and the drawer bottoms, those are 1/4” birch ply. it has several coats of satin lacquer

Beautiful piece ! ... I built a chest like this for my mom (without the bottom three drawers) and she loved it like I’m sure your wife does …. Hopefully you don’t also have to fill it !

griff,
What a beautiful Armoire. The cedar is gorgeous as always. Looks like an excellent finish also. I’m sure the wife has to be happy with this one! Man you sure do have a lot of jewelry to buy. I mean you’re not gonna hang bandsaw blades or table saw blades in those side compartments are ya’.-LOL griff excellent work as usual, you just keep crnking ‘em out! Take care.

Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis

Griff, this is absolutely beautiful. As a rule, I;m not that crazy about cedar, but in this piece it is perfect. The finish looks great, too.

Great piece, Griff. It appears to be as functional as it is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
