This oak frame is made from lumber cut on one of our farms many years ago. The picture is of my grandfather who farmed but did not own the farm the wood came from. His daughter (my mother)did buy the ground later. The planter plate was used in a Allis Chalmers planter and it is for soybeans. The plate dates back to 1960. the oak has to be close to 100 years old and the picture is from the early 1900.
The corner inlay is walnut. Also from our ground.

Thanks for looking
