My Pool Table

Project by Wilt posted 297 days ago 720 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I had bought a cheap pool table when I started college. It got alot of use and wear & tear. After I got married I decided it was time to rebuild my pool table. The original table was mostly made out of particle board and plastic veneer(which did not survive the college life), however the slate was in excellent condition. The only remaining original parts are the slate pieces and and the frame on which it sat. It turned out pretty good and the cue rolls nice and straight, unfortuneatly the balls don’t find the pockets as much as I would like.

It looks great, have always wanted to build one myself. Hope you get many more years of enjoyment from this.

nice table!

what did you use for plans? the original pieces/design? or a new one?

No a bad idea rebuilding an old pool table instead of building one from scratch. Good job!

Nice rebuild. Reminds me of back in the 50’s when I would help my dad rebuild the pool tables in his pool hall.
