No, I didn’t make this but wanted to share with all of you. We just returned from a 2 month trip to Ecuador. we see lots of this type of furniture especially in the Indigenous areas of the country. However, more and more we see new construction like this…to sell to the crazy “Gringos” for ridiculous prices by Ecuadorean standards. I have no idea what kind of wood this is, just a very cool design. Of course this one was made with hand tools…probably a machete. This was in front of a little restaurant that served only chicken (pollo) cooked over charcoal just outside of Paute Ecuador..
