Very nice little piece!

Have to ask – did you intend for it to look like a whale tail, or was it just a “fluke”? Ha!

Nice work. Are you using all hand tools? I also noticed that your grain direction changes depending on the carving. Is that for a reason or personal preference? Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
