This is another of my older projects which I hadn’t posted because of lack of photography. Occasionally at church we project videos on the screen with a computer and LCD projector. Our sanctuary is small enough that we don’t always need to use an amp, but can rely on a pair of computer speakers. The problem was they would not sit in a stable fashion on the railing. I therefore cobbled together a pair of stands that would sit on the railing and hold the speakers.

They are just pieces of wood, cut and glued together. No nails. I painted them black to help them blend in with the dark woodwork of the church. Their use is so occasional that It’s taken me over a year for an opportunity to photograph them in use.

Nice, Dave. Are the speakers fastened to the stands? Thanks for sharing.

The speakers are just sitting on the flatness. I considered putting a lip around the edge, but decided not to.
