I just realize how out of focus the first picture is, Sorry!
Well with the last snow fall I lost some branches out of my dogwood trees and since i don’t remember ever seeing anything made from a dogwood tree I thought I would turn something out of them. I am still trying to figure out how to burn lines on the bowling pin while it spins. Anyway thanks for looking!

Find a piece of wire and attach 2 wooden handles. Pull the wire by holding the handles against the turning and apply pressure until you get the desired burn. Make sure you do no try to hold the bare wire, that is how accidents might happen.
