Started making boards for Christmans presents and just couldn’t stop. Everytime I see a new board on the Jocks I have to try it. Still working on just basic designs but love the projects I can knock out in a few hours. Most are walnut and hard maple with mineral oil finish.

Really nicely designed and constructed boards. You do good work.

I want to use a wood you used in at least one of your pictured boards.

The best example is in photo #3 where the handle is.

What is that wood?

I see (well, I think) you used a little PurpleHeart in a couple of your boards, but this wood I am interested in looks different from both walnut or PurpleHeart.

It appears there is a blueish tint to the wood.

Maybe my monitor color or your camera didn’t process the color right, so help me out a little here.

Nice work…...and thanks…... Bruce

C Plus – the stripes are indeed purpleheart just alittle faded due to time. Good luck finding what you are looking for.
