Since I have a lot of dovetails in my next project, I wanted a Moxon Vise for my new workbench. I used a couple of old 1/2” pipe clamps, also picked up a 2×6 at the BORG and processed it to length, four squared the two face pieces and ripped down the back brace piece. A couple of F Style clamps hold it firmly in place, easy peasy.
LOVING the new workbench!

An economical, quick, and workable solution. Good thinking.

LOVE IT! Also gets you material a little closer to eye level. I will surely copy this. Tons of 1/2” pipe clamps.

Made one myself but i used 1/2 threaded rod and made a couple “knobs”

Thought of doing your idea, JCC inspired, but all i have are 3/4 inch pipe clamps and need them.
