This was a custom order I received 2 weeks before Xmas. It now contains 25 cd’s worth of digital media. How’s that for storage? It was given as a gift to the AA Victoriaville Vulcan’s running back. Luckily I had some black walnut 2×3’s that my neighbour gave me. They were reclaimed from skids from the same flooring factory that I got the wood from for Sit’s Ate. The butternut is from a block of low btu firewood. It got another coat of lacquer after the shot was taken. It shined up nicely.

This is really nice. And I like the use of “salvaged” wood too. The butternut contrasts nicely with the walnut.
