Jim, these are really nice carvings. As a non-carver I have always admired those to whom this skill has been gifted. It takes a special talent to not only see the inner beauty hidden within the wood but also to be able to bring it out.

Nice job Jim. You may consider making the leaf veins not quit so uniform and varying the width and depth. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing more.
