Driftwood Wood Spirit Carving

This is my newest wood spirit carving, carved in a piece of river driftwood. If you follow me at all, you know that I carve using rotary hand tools (very similar to dentist tools) and I usually paint using oils. I really like to let the wood tone be the skin tone, and only add a bit of brown paint to accentuate the carving.

This carving is 11 1’4” tall, 7” wide and 3 1/2” thick.

This is a wall-hanging carving that comes with a certificate of authenticity (as pictured).

If I can be of any help, just yell at me :) I love to carve!
