A couple new herringbone trays

I’ve made and posted some of these before, but here is a new batch. Following Grizzman’s lead, I went with a simpler handle template. I like the look vs. the handle in the original build. These two are nearly identical except for the maple and padauk stripes. The first one has a single maple with two padauk and the one in the second picture it’s reversed.

Thats beautiful but maybe correctly called Chevron, as opposed to herringbone

In the original article in the magazine, they called it herringbone. Although I know this is more chevron, I’m just repeating what they called it.
