I made these for my grand daughter when she comes over to visit. The blocks are hard maple and the box is fir. I used finger joint on the corners of the box, I am not sure if it will show in the pictures. I did not put a finish on them as she still puts everything in her mouth.

I haven’t tried to put them in the box without stacking them, so I don’t know. I am having fun stacking them myself. There is extra room in the box so they just might, if they don’t I will get her a saw and she can cut them to fit.

Great Job. If I remember right the blocks when I went to school were unfinished.

Oh I loved playing with a set of blocks that was similar to this, when I was a young child. Lots of memories in that box, that’s for sure!!
