This pen kit was donated to my show, The Renaissance Woodworker, by Penn State Industries. It is their Bullet Cartridge kit turned with a Lava Bright Acrylic Camoflauge blank. I sanded to 600 grit and then used PSI’s One-Step Plastics Polish (also donated by PSI) to finish it to a high shine.
I documented the process and it will be released tomorrow in my latest podcast. I will be giving away an identical kit with blank, arylic sanding pads, and Plastics Polish at the end of the show. If you want to be in the drawing to win this kit send me an email at shannon@rogersfinewoodworking.com and I’ll put your name into the mix. I’ll be doing the drawing at 7 PM EST tomorrow, Monday 1/26 so that I can put the name into the video and get it uploaded to iTunes.
