My bride has been waiting patiently for some bedroom furniture. I promised her some furniture two years ago – and even bought the wood. So I finally got in the mood and the mode to build her a headboard. It took about 4 hours using pocket screws and a handful of biscuits.

Her comment – “It took you two years to build something that could have been done in 4 hours?”

She’s happy! Now onto the nightstands!

It is a simple design with 8” car siding stapled onto the backside of the pine frame.

Now you’ve gone and done it! She’s gonna expect more now. You will be expected to build more cool projects like this, better and faster. All kidding aside, it looks very good. Job well done.
