Well I hate to see even the smallest of scraps get waisted so I thought it would be cool to use the scraps in a way that I could wear my woodwork with me.

Most of them have a 1/4” hole drilled through width wise for a leather cord necklace that I made.

First pic the second pendant has an inlaid scull and crossbones, and the third is scrap left over from my first box project.

Secont pic the fisrt pendant is my first attempt at woodburning, lol its a very hard skill. The third is reversible to show oak instead of the maple.

Third pic some crosses, one is for mother.

The one in the forth pic was a present for my cousin.

Woods: maple, walnut, cherry, cedar, oak and hickory

I utilized some small scraps for keychains and necklaces quite a few years ago as well , but I never got any pix of them : ( It was fun and I didn’t have the guilt feelings that come from throwing the little ones away : ) You’ve done a great job with yours !

Very nice. I too have made some pendants and even a couple of pair of earings, and a money clip. Just have not gotten pics of them yet. Earings are still waiting for the hangers to be attached. Great use for scraps!

excellent color and contrast…I don’t always think of wood as jewelry…but why not!

great idea, I’ve got three daughters who’d love these sort of things. It also beats burning the scraps.

That is a great idea, my girlfriend likes one off jewelry so I think I might have to surprise her with a few of these. I particularly like the triangle shaped piece with the three different types of wood. Thanks for posting.
