I made this set from some beautiful 1” Western Red Cedar I got from the local lumber yard. Stained with General Finishes 450 Cedar and finished with the General Finishes 450 Satin Clear Coat. Thanks for viewing!

Beautiful set good work. I have built a number of these chairs and this is a good looking set.

Good Work. well reinforced. like the end table it will be used. I had to look that you are in California and how you got Western Red Cedar. Here in PA its rare and I would love to try some, my pine chairs have held up for years and are due to replace. Keep you patterns you probably will make more. great wedding presents !

Thanks guys, and don’t worry, my patterns are well protected! I actually made my first set out of pine as well, and despite what I read about pine not being good for outdoor furniture, like you said, they have held up well for 3 years now. I love WRC though for its weather resistance!
