This box came from a Doug Stowe book, “Basic Box Making.” Walnut sides, oak ply bottom, quilted maple top and ash keys. I made five of these for Christmas gifts, it would have been six but brain-farted in the process and ruined one… but hey, ya gotta break some eggs, right?

Nice looking boxes.
Yeah, me too re. the eggs. That’s why I try to make an extra or two. If no broken eggs, then I can sell them to recoup some of the cost, or keep for myself. Actually, most broken eggs now become design changes. :D
