Nice job again. What kind of wood is this? Red Alder? How did you get the rank carved into the wood like that? I have been struggling with that part. Nice detail.
-- No matter how many times I cut this wood it keeps coming up short.

The case is RO and the rank / wings are a mixture of maple and Alder. Cant remember how I did the rank on the columns, I have made so many cases I have a hard time keeping track!
