This is my contribution to the LJs dovetail swap. It’s heavily inspired by my favorite dovetailer, David Barron. If you’ve never seen his dovetaling video, check it out here.

The kit includes:

- Marking knife- Blade by Czech Edge too, handle turned from cocobolo.
- Brass Mallet- Brass head from Lj August, handle turned from cocobolo.
- Magnetic Dovetail guides I made from walnut and white oak. Barron shows how to make them here.
- Dovetail alignment board also from walnut and white oak.

All finished with shellac, paste wax, and sent on their way.

Hope you enjoy them Lj sepeck. Better yet, I hope they help you enjoy dovetails as much as I do now.

Take care, Red

It’s been exciting to see the evolution of your work. The swap items exemplify your attention to detail and those very skills. I imagine sepeck will get much cherished use from them.

Your attention to detail is awesome Mr. Red.

And I’m sure sepeck is going to love using his dovetail
set you made for him.

Great job.
