Used some antler I’ve had laying around for years and used one of Craftsupplies bolt action pen kits. Liked the way it turned out even though antler is so unpredictable. Use a little wax on it and called it a day. What do you all think ? C&C welcome.

Great Pen. Never used antler but I believe it can be difficult.
Thanks for showing,

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Your pen looks good. I used to turn a BUNCH of Antler pens years ago and had mixed results – a lot of it was so porous that I could not obtain a good finish. Then I stumbled across some Reindeer Antler and it made all the difference in the world. I think that I used to get it from a guy in Utah – but a Google for Reindeer antler should show some results.
