Wow! That looks pretty solid. I could see that lasting a long time. Good build.

Looks great Mate,
Very sturdy and well designed. It should last a life time.
Thanks for sharing.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Hi nice work
wanted to make one of these for a while now, was thinking of using Douglas fir. Did you use plans to make it?

thanks for your comments
scottishbob i did not use a plan
my father used to make dung barrows
for our farm yard so i just did it out
or my head Douglas fir is a bit soft
it would soak in to much water in winter and swell up and shrink in summer
and not last very long i made one using
fir and it only lasted one year
hope this is helpful
