This past weekend’s project was to make a soap curing rack for my wife’s soap making hobby. The top and bottom shelves are glued in and hold the structure together, but the other four are removable to allow access and reconfiguration as required. The shelves are made from pegboard to help allow for drying and they slide in dados. The legs are sanded to 220, but do not have a finish. The second picture shows it with a single batch of soap loaded and with three of the shelves removed. Here’s hoping it works well…
Updated 3/11/15: Added a picture of the rack almost fully loaded with three batches of soap curing.
