my family and I go camping for Easter. Last Easter I managed to talk some park rangers out of a couple of logs they had cut up. Still green, I took them home. It wasn’t till about a two months ago i cut into one. To my surprise it was all spaulted. I rough turned a couple pieces then a few weeks later turned this. I still have about 3-1/2 logs left. The top knob is african ebony. Gonna try some inside out turning with some of the remaining logs.

Beautiful piece you’ve made. Now is this what you keep salt in? I am guessing so by the name. You need Himalayan salt in it. I’ve been turning people on to Himalayan salt for a couple of years now. The richest and healthiest salt in the world. Most people don’t know that salt is not bad for you or raise blood pressure or the cause of salt diseases that doctors say that it is. It’s the processing of salt that is killing people. You did a great job on this, and makes me wish I had a lathe to turn wood.
