Found an old bell at an auction. Was going to hang it in the shop but too heavy. Decided to make a stand for it.
Use scrap 2×4’s for the construction. Bolted the bell to the top rail and turn a walnut cap for it. I also turned a mallet to go with it later. The bell weighs in at 47lbs. Don’t know what I am going to do with, but it was a fun weekend project.

No markings on bell. All rusted, but only paid $10 for it.

I need to do this!!! I’ve had an old large bell in my workshop for years now, meaning to make some kind of frame for it. Thanks for the idea!!
