I love building guitars, although I usualy stay in the acoustic side of Lutherie, this one was a special request from a customer that is special to me..

Made out of maple, she has a master grade curly rim. The top and back were hand carved, and the rim bent by hand. The hand shaped neck showcase a ebony fretboard with a custom hand cut mother of pearl inlay of the phases of the moon.( 12 fret marker is a howling wolf in front of a full moon).

The peghead also has a ebony venneer with a handcut MoP inlay of the name brand. No CnC is ever use on my instruments.

Color is a hand rub mix of 4 stains. Laquered and hand polished.

I’ll also add my web page link if you would like to see more …

Sweet build. I’m currently planning my third build, a six string bass. I’ve been bitten by the guitar building bug.

Unbelievable! That is simply gorgeous. As a lifelong guitar player that thing just screams to be played. I have never liked inflated fret markets but the phases of the moon is not one I remember seeing but one I would definitely love. You nailed the ballance of decoration without making it look like an over done Vegas drag queen. Like the girls next door got dolled up. Fantastic job!

Absolutely gorgeous. I have wanted to try to build a couple of guitars for some years and other things just keep getting in the way. I visited your site and it is clear you love woodworking and have found your passion in making instruments. I too have build a strip kayak, boxes, cabinets, furniture and have bought several books on guitar building. I think I’m ready for the challenge.

Thanks for the inspiration.
