Read about the challenge in popular woodworking,decided to give it a try.Progress is getting their,only have weekends to work on it.Good thing it doesn’t have to be an exact replica,this is what I thought of when i first saw the table.Just a glimpse of what the legs will look like,should be finished next weekend.

Good Luck Dave in getting it done on time. What is the wood. other than oak flooring! LOL.

The table is being made with ironwood hard on the machines but I think the grain is worth it.
The top is a piece 1 inch thick,but to make it look like breadboard ends,I routed out the middle.
