A while back Bonnie spotted something on Pinterest that she wanted. And now that we have the new bathroom vanity, I used a piece of the same oak so it would match the vanity top. Started with a 3” X 2” plumbing Y. Sanded all the casting marks off it and painted it with Rustoleum paint that looks like hammered metal. The 2” hole on the side will hold her curling iron.

I used 2 sizes of hole saws to cut the groove and construction adhesive to hold it to the oak base. The base has 1 coat of Danish oil and 3 coats of rattle-can lacquer. And I added felt pads so it wont scratch the vanity top.

We could definitely use one of these. Is the other opening a spare or do you have 2 dryers?

Wish I could take the credit for it. Bonnie saw it on Pinterest and asked for one.
