Modern Cabriole side table

I made this side table to somewhat match my main coffee table. I made a twist on a cabriole leg and saved some in material costs by making the leg post tenon into the apron at 45 degrees versus the normal 90 degrees. I utilized solid walnut for the legs, apron, and solid wood edge, and a sunburst rosewood veneered top. Finish is a French polish for the top and poly for the apron and legs. Total project time 15 hours.

Very nice. I built something similar once but not as nice, for my P.C. Well done.

Thanks for the comments! DoubleDD, you seem fairly close to me in location, Northbrook vs Downers Grove. I’m pretty familiar with that area, I went to College in Wheaton.
