Not much in the way of a woodworking project but it combines my two favorite hobbies well. I was reworking the landscaping at the corner of my driveway and decided to add a fence. As usual I wanted something a little different. I think I like carving lizards because they are easy and fun. I also like saving $ and these materials cost me zip…
The posts are cedar saved from a project on Cape Cod…I got about 20 ten foot logs 8” to 18” in dia. and have been using them for a variety of outdoor projects. The rails are maple thinned from my woods.

I like the fact that you have to look for the Gecko, as he tends to blend in a bit. It makes for a moment of surprise and discovery.

I don’t know how I managed to not see this before now, but that is a cool fence. I really like the cost of it as well.
