One of todays projects I was playing around with. Just something a little different than the last few.
what is interesting is the difference in the grain appearance of the top and sides…especially since the entire box was cut from one board.

I like how the pattern makes it look seamless. Like it tricks the eye.

This is an interesting style you are exploring, Greg. The geometric pattern and exotic wood grain compliment each other perfectly.

thanks everyone…! This was an interesting design and I plan to a few more similar ones to see where it goes. I already drew out a design for a wall hanging shelf using this pattern. My graduated photo background is really scuffed up and the photos aren’t as good because of it. it especially makes a difference when trying to get the best possible photos for show applications.. I am waiting for a couple of new ones I ordered.
