Sorry, I forgot to get a picture of it folded. To fold one grabs each side of the top and pulls the sides away from each other. Three of the top planks fold one way and the the other 3 fold on the opposite side. I have a couple of stools built on the same principle, I will try to remember to post pictures of them.
