Fellow lumberjock Eric was looking for someone to turn a dice cup for a friend of his. I took on the challenge and turned a sample from a piece of dark walnut. The dice cup is 3 1/2” high, 3 1/2” in outside diameter, 3” inside diameter and 3” deep. I used a square sided scraper to get the walls absolutely straight and parallel to each other. Finish was Mylands friction polish followed by Triple E and Renaissance wax. I then buffed it out on the Beall wheel. I am having some problems with my camera and apologize for the photo quality.

That looks great, Jeff. I am sure dice sound very nice rattling around in that wooden cup. Sometimes it’s the sounds that make the game memorable!
