I have spent a lot of time over the last few months working on built-ins around my house. The first three pictures are our mudroom/laundry room. Pics one and two are of the mudroom wall where we’ve got coat hooks, baskets, a bench, shoe storage, a coat closet and some additional upper storage. In the first picture you can see our dog crate cabinet. It’s the spot where our miniature schnauzer likes to spend his days. The third picture is of our laundry basket tower where we sort all of our clothes. I’ve got a bit more work to do in this area but it’s 90% finished. The fourth picture is of my wife’s office. It’s a wrap-around corner desk and storage. The fifth picture is of our living room entertainment cabinet. It holds the cable boxes and subwoofer and gives some display ledges for pictures and knick-knacks. The last picture is in my son’s room. He needed some shelving for trophies and books. I connected the two towers with a window seat and bin storage below.

All of these projects were made from MDF, plywood, and poplar face frames. The counter tops and bench seat are all Walnut. Finish was two coats of snow white milk paint followed by one or two coats of General Finishes white tinted poly. All sprayed with my Earlex. The walnut got 2-3 coats of GF Arm-R-Seal. My track saw and kreg jig got a serious workout on these projects.

Thanks for looking.

Serious amount of work there Cory.
Well done.

It looks like the sprayer got a workout too.

Again, you have really done a great job. I’m retired and it would have taken me forever to build those great pieces. With a job i’d never get them finished! Very classy work Cory!

Great units Cory, very nice indeed. You are giving me some inspiration for my new kitchen!
What track saw have you got? I have the DeWalt. Absolutely love it for this kind of work.
Great work,

Edit: I just saw the Festool in another post of yours, so that answers my question!

Thanks everyone. You’re right, Steve, my sprayer did get a workout. I learned a lot, too, about what not to do to get a good finish!

Garry, I have the TS55 which I love. I use it a little more and my table saw a little less with each project.
