Looks really good Jerry!
Was wondering what you used for a glaze for the accents on the island?

Thanks for the comments everyone. This was a good project for us and some learning curve also with the frameless cabinet.

Iwud4u, The glaze is a product from ML Campbell. I had the glaze custom matched to the “tobacco” color of the rest of the kitchen. My wife does it but she hates doing the glaze. She also dislikes the look as she thinks it looks like someone marked up the cabinets. She feels it is sort of “abuse” to the overall look. I am not a fan of the glazing also.

Glad everyone liked this project.

I have another Cherry project that I liked a lot that we did recently. I would like to add that project also soon.

Canadianchips, we built the cabinets in our shop. We have not done a lot with frameless in our past, but recently we have been doing more and more frameless cabinets. They tend to work out great as we cut them on our CNC.

jburklow, I will look forward to seeing your project if I know when you post it. Let me know. I look forward to the day in the next year or so when we build our own cabinets for our new home we intend on building soon.

Thanks Jerry,
I had done a similar island, I used stain to do the accent, it passed but didn’t work out so well.
Next time I will give the glaze a try.
Here is the one I did. It’s also frame less. (European Style)
