This is a tool box I’m working on for joinery school. The carcass is birch ply and solid beech. The inlay and drawer fronts are padauk and drawer runner and pulls (not shown) are going to be wenge. I know I’m not really supposed to post works-in-progress, but, heck, I’m excited. I’ll post again when it’s finished.

The half blind dovetails in third pic look very neat and clean. Great work Andrew!

this would be a perfect example of a BLOG….

if you’ll look at recent forum topics from earlier today, this was just mentioned, that posted projects are supposed to be finished projects. an unfinished project CAN STILL BE POSTED , but that should be as a blog entry which is what it is…

no offense… just trying to redirect those misplaced posts to where they should be presented :) nice drawer fronts!

Nothing like a forest of clamps to make one feel like being in the wilderness.

Very nice dove tails. Is this at the Center of Furniture Craftsmanship?
