Looks great, I like this one going to have to make one this spring with some cedar I have sitting in the garage.

great box. I promised my son I would make him one. I haven’t yet but this one looks really simple. Did you attach the top to the lid, I am thinking about using double sided tape that way if he needs to replace the cooler he can just pop the tape loose and put another one in. Any after thoughts you might want to share?

Yes the top is attached with two screws on each side of the lid. Easy change if need be. My only suggestion is to buy the cooler first and build around, that way its a perfect fit.
