This is our new 8×23 ft. deck that I built last month on our park model trailer in the High Chaparral RV park in Arizona. The build process is in this blog ( ). It has 2 44×18x 85 storage drawers under it and an inboard set of steps on the back end. It is carpeted and has a 36” high railing and separate railings for the steps. All railings are doweled and screwed on. It is finished with Olympic stain.
Cheers, Jim

I just finished the latches for the roll out drawers, they will be installed in Jan ‘16. One side needed longer fingers than the other. The red handles have 2 pins in the end that fit in the holes in the latch axles. I made 2 in case I lose one.

That is a great job Jim. Done to perfection.
I love the storage trolleys.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Jim, Very nice!!! It looks nice and roomy and just the spot to relax in the evening. You put a lot of work into that.

There is some nice blue sky visible in the background too.

Awesome work, those drawers will add a ton of storage and the wheel supports will make them very convenient.

That’s a great build Jim, you’ll be able to hide a multitude of goodies in these drawers, a real practical idea & I bet some of the other guys will be looking for similar opportunities of their own
well done as usual mate

Thank you all for the nice comments. I don’t get on the internet very often down here so it took a while to post it.
This deck sure gives us some nice added living space. I sleep out there in a lounge chair a lot!

Cheers, Jim
