drop catch bottle opener

Most of my projects thus far are from things found around the web. These were from fellow LJs spclPatrolGroup and jasonburr, thanks for the great detailed post. Made from purple heart and Maple, opener Starr around 10 dollars from amazon, rare earth disc magnets from CMS magnets N42 bottom center to catch caps (60 lbs holding) and top 2 magnets are about half strength to adhere opener. Not pictured is the black felt backing placed to prevent it from scratching the surface it is attached to. The hammer was to test the holding strength. In the future I would drill the magnet holes bigger to allow for glue to escape. Cheers

Turned out great! It’s amazing the strength of those magnets—certainly will hold a few bottle caps!
