I made a few of these for Christmas gifts this year. It is a very cheap gift to make. I just ran the router around a piece of poplar, and used a wood burner and mostly a dremel to carve out the old school Nittany Lion. I think that 5 bottle openers cost about 12 or 13 bucks, they are cool because they are cast iron have that really old look. Also, I’m a big fan of the stain-pen.. worked really well for filling in the lion.

Who is your source for iron work?

Great idea and very well done. I am also curious where you got your openers. I have had no luck finding plain ones.
