This is a project I completed several years ago. The photography is a bit fuzzy but you get the idea.
Designed to hold a collection of 300 watches-this cabinet is made of
Black Walnut, Pine, Maple and Blondwood. The cabinet opens to reveal ten
drawers. Each made of select pine with hand cut dovetails.
The drawers have chains for drawer pulls and are lined with felt.
A simple design from a french curve and a turned pediment top the back
of the cabinet.
The base is highlighted by three hourglass elements and front legs with
a turned section ending in a cabriolet foot with an accentuated curve.
A simple maple boarder separates the upper carcass from the base.

I knew a guy (my bosses son) that received watches from the family all the time and he had a collection of (in his words) hundreds of watches. This would work great for him.
Nice work, the legs and cross members are really creative.
This was not an easy project to complete and you had done a wonderful job.
thanks for sharing.

Beautiful cabinet. It looks like with enough watches to fill that, he has a lot of time on his hands… groan.

Holy cow! In a furniture store an item like this would sell for a fortune. Great work.
