My roll top desk project is finally finished , a year in the making this one is. Didnt get around to the organizer inside yet but i will in the next year or two. Finger joined drawers and a s curve tambour top were the greatest challenges. They required alot of pateience but they both turned out great. The plan was a mix between the upper half of the woodsmith shop design and the lower half being the home and garden’s ” WOOD” plan. Its alot less yellow than it appears in the images. Treated with three coats of medium walnut danish oil and six coats of clear gloss lacquer. Made from solid oak.

sweet desigN! I like the roll top on this, it came out well.

As a side note- if the pictures are coming out a different color (more yellow instead of brown) check your White Balance, that may help.

Again, great work!

Very nice! Look forward to seeing the pigeon holes when you complete that!

Great build. That piece will be around a long time. Well done.
