This is a well needed addition to my wood shop however I was told by my wife that it is not allowed to be in my shop. Nothing fancy here. This is one of two cabinets that I am building to replace the scrap wood cabinet on the wall behind it.
Currently this is in the build mode. The case is made of 3/4” MDF and trimed with some scrap pine. Got the idea out of one of my magazines and added some of my own design to it. I tend to look at something and then set out to create it but it always comes out different with my own ideas.
This was my first attempt at a panel door. No jig or sled was used to create the panels and I guess it shows. I liked the crisp look of the cuts on the face of the MDF so that is why the panels are not cut in the traditional way.
The handles are had made as well. The only hardware that was purchased where the hinges. However I still need to get some latch’s for the doors.
The inside boasts an adjustable shelf and when finished the cabinets will have shelves in the middle connecting them together.

Nicely built cabinet. Great work !
I think your wife is right, it shouldn’t be in your shop.

I like it. Gotta have some shop cabinets to keep the sawdust off.
