Another scrap wood project. Nothing special here, just a need and some scrap wood laying around. I got tired of having to sort through my pile of sandpaper for the grit I need. Now it is all here ready for me to use. I put a hacksaw blade up on top to allow me to easily cut my large sheets down to size when I needed them.

I like the hacksaw blade idea. Nice. I may have to incorporate that into my shop, as I find it very inconvenient and time consuming to cut down my sheets. I end up avoiding it all together and try to re-use an old piece, which is usually not in the best interest of the project.

I like the hacksaw idea…will implement it asap. Always looking for scissors to cut sandpaper to size. This is so much more convenient.

I used a washer under each side of the hacksaw blade to allow clearance for the sandpaper to easily slide under. This can be improved upon by possibly adding a larger base and adding measured marks to give you a quick reference so you can quickly size the sandpaper for a specific sanding block for instance.
